FASE policies and compliance

Policies

Our Commitment

FASE B.V. is committed to conducting its activities in an ethical, responsible, and legally compliant manner. The following policies set out our approach to environmental sustainability, labour and human rights, and anti-bribery and corruption.

FASE Policies

Environmental Sustainability Policy

FASE B.V. recognises its responsibility to minimise the environmental impact of its operations. As a small professional association operating primarily in a digital and event-based capacity, our direct environmental footprint is limited, but we are committed to continuous improvement in the following areas:

• We prioritise digital communication and documentation over print wherever practicable.

• We encourage the use of public transport and lower-emission travel options when attending FASE events.

• We select event venues with demonstrated commitments to environmental sustainability.

• We review our operational practices periodically to identify further opportunities to reduce waste and energy consumption.

FASE is committed to complying with all applicable environmental legislation in the jurisdictions in which it operates.

Labour and Human Rights Policy

FASE B.V. is committed to upholding fundamental human rights and to ensuring that slavery, forced labour, and human trafficking have no place in our organisation or supply chain.

As a small professional association with a limited number of direct suppliers and contractors, our exposure to modern slavery risk is low. Nevertheless, we maintain the following commitments:

• We engage only with suppliers and contractors who share our commitment to ethical labour practices.

• We do not engage in or condone any form of forced, compulsory, or trafficked labour, child labour, or physical or psychological coercion.

• All individuals working with or for FASE do so voluntarily, under fair terms, and with the right to terminate their engagement without penalty.

• We review our supplier relationships periodically with these principles in mind.

Any concerns regarding labour practices connected to FASE may be raised with the Executive Director.

Anti-Bribery, Anti-Corruption, and Anti-Money Laundering Policy

FASE B.V. has a zero-tolerance approach to bribery, corruption, and money laundering. This policy applies to all staff, contractors, board members, and anyone acting on behalf of FASE.

Bribery and corruption

• No person acting for or on behalf of FASE may offer, promise, give, request, or accept any bribe or improper payment, whether in cash or in any other form, in order to gain any commercial, contractual, or personal advantage.

• Hospitality and gifts are permissible only where they are modest, transparent, and could not reasonably be construed as an attempt to influence a business decision.

Anti-money laundering

• FASE will not knowingly facilitate or participate in any transaction that involves the proceeds of criminal activity.

• Membership fees and other payments to FASE must be made through legitimate, traceable means.

• Any suspicion of money laundering connected to FASE's operations should be reported immediately to the Executive Director.

Reporting

FASE encourages anyone with concerns about potential breaches of this policy to raise them without fear of retaliation. Reports may be made confidentially to the Executive Director or, where appropriate, to the relevant national authority.

FASE complies with all applicable anti-bribery, anti-corruption, and anti-money laundering legislation, including the Dutch Wet ter voorkoming van witwassen en financieren van terrorisme (Wwft).
